What to send
- Corrections. A quote of the sentence you believe is wrong, the page it appears on, and a link to the source that contradicts it.
- Provider changes. If a VPN provider has changed its logging policy, published a new audit or altered a free plan, send the link to the provider's own page. Articles are updated and the updated date on the page changes.
- Broken links. The page and the link that no longer resolves.
- Legacy links. If you maintain a page that linked to the old webvpn.org proxy and want to know where the link now leads, the answer is the web proxy explanation; write if a redirect is not behaving as described there.
What we cannot help with
The proxy service that ran on this domain from 2010 closed and is not coming back. There is no support for it, no account recovery, and no way to fetch pages through this site. We also do not provide individual technical support for VPN apps; the provider's own support pages are the right place for that.
Postal address and legal
The site is operated by an independent editorial team. Legal notices can be sent to the email address above and will be acknowledged. The privacy policy explains what happens to messages you send.
Frequently asked questions
Can you help me use the webvpn.org proxy?
No. The proxy closed and there is no service to support. The web proxy page explains what happened and what to use instead.
Do you accept guest posts or paid links?
No. The site publishes only its own articles and does not sell links or placements.
How quickly do you reply?
Corrections are usually applied within a few days and acknowledged by email. General questions may take longer, and some are answered by updating the relevant article rather than individually.
